Questions
The ones that come up most when getting started.
Can clients sign up on their own?
No. Clients join by invitation from their trainer, so only the people you add can get in.
Does The Kennel text or email my clients for me?
No. Sign-in and reset links open in your own phone's Messages or email app, and you tap Send. Alerts inside The Kennel come from the app itself.
A client's sign-in link expired. What now?
Each link works once, for 7 days. Send a new one from the client's page, or give them the 4‑letter backup code shown there.
Is there an App Store or Google Play app?
No. The Kennel is a web app you install from the browser.
Do I need a card to try it?
No. Both plans start with a 14-day free trial and no card is needed.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Your 14-day trial is free and needs no card. When it ends, you’ll see “Thank you for trying The Kennel. Please subscribe if you wish to continue.” Nothing is billed unless you subscribe.
Where do I find more help as a trainer?
Inside the app there's a Help page with the trainer guide: pictures, four short silent captioned videos and tips. Tap ? in the header to open the matching section.
